The Spartak football club is called the winningest club in Russia for good reason. It was champion of the Soviet Union 12 times, champion of Russia 9 times, won the Russian Cup 3 times, and has been a semifinalist in two main European club tournaments (the Champions Cup and the UEFA Cup)./Approximate opening date: 2014

According to one account, the name ‘Kosino’ came from the Russian word kosa, meaning ‘plaid’, because of a long sandbank formed by three local lakes: Chyornoye, Beloye, and Svyatoye (Black, White, and Holy, respectively). This also happens to be the place where the future Russian Emperor, Peter the Great, tried his hand at marine navigation./Opening in 2015

Mikhail Lomonosov was the first Russian scientist and naturalist of world renown, an encyclopedist, a chemist, and a physicist. He developed the plans for Moscow University, which was later named in his honor./Approximate opening date: 2015

Nekrasovka//Since this station is located on the territory of former irrigation fields (Lyuberetskiye Fields), the architects tried to reflect the land's ecology in the station's design. Nekrasovka Station will be erected in the district by the same name in Moscow's southeast administrative region. The village has been called Nekrasovka since the end of the 19th century, deriving its name from the estate's last owner, Yegor Nekrasov. He was a merchant who traded tea in Moscow and owned eateries. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Moscow city government bought the land from Nekrasov to construct irrigation fields. Later, the Lyuberetsky aeration station was built here./Opening in 2015

Aviamotornaya//The station’s interiors reflect the theme from this old industrial district of Moscow. Aviamotornaya Station, which literally means 'aviation motor station' received its name in honor of the eponymous street. Initially, the street was named First Street of the All-Saints Settlement (in honor of the All-Saints Monastery), later known as First Sinichkinaya Street (taken from the Sinichka River, which flows in this area). In 1930, the Central Institute for Aviation Motor Development, where technological novelties of aviation engine building were developed, was built on this street. The street was then renamed Aviamotornaya./Approximate opening date: 2016.

Volkhonka//Because of its proximity to the Pushkin Museum, architects developed one of the station's projects in the form of an exhibition hall: they will decorate the vestibule with exact impressions of sculptures or copies of paintings from the museum's collection. The station is named after one of Moscow's oldest streets, where the Volkonsky noble family's possessions and the Volkhonka drinking establishment were located at the end of the 18th century./Opening in 2018
