The Archangelsk Infernal Triangle is an anomalous zone in the north of European Russia. The three points that form the triangle are the Plesetsk cosmodrome, the Severodvinsk nuclear shipbuilding center, and the nuclear test site on the peninsula of Sukhoi Nos, which once detonated the Tsar Bomb, the most powerful in history.

Getting to the White Sea coast is no walk in the park, especially when phones and satnav don't work. It's as if the sea doesn't exist. In its place lie vast swamps and marshes. Only after crossing 100 miles off-road did the travelers find the coast, where they were greeted by a deafening silence.

There were other signs of life along the way: empty lanes, lopsided fences, a triangular kiosk marked "Store". Instead of Severodvinsk, the Batenka team ended up in the village of Stroitel - by chance.

There the team met Boris, the custodian of the Infernal Triangle. He fishes out at sea in his own hand-built amphibious vehicle - head out along the edge of the sea, pull away from the beach, skirt world's end, and back home in time for tea.

In any case, the point where the Infernal Triangle reaches its anomalous limit was reached. Arguing with the forces of nature there is futile. Physical laws no longer apply and everything is turned on its head.
